The Art Generators Gallery is an art space launching in Maplewood in Summer 2026!

The gallery will feature local & regional artists of all types, plus community events, activations, workshops, and incredible vibes all around.

Art is for everyone.

We’re wildly excited to bring the Arts to Newark Way! Opening a space that connects art to community is a natural step for us – four artists who are obsessed with connecting with others. We are thrilled to launch a place for art in partnership with Artie’s, who sees Maplewood through a lens of creativity and possibility.

Our inaugural show will be on Friday September 4th

The theme is “It’s Electric”.

We are seeking art for sale that is beautiful and meaningful.

Click the link below to apply — you can submit up to 5 pieces at once, and we’ll be in touch.

We’re creating one show per month, so will be cycling regularly.

Each submission (up to a total of 5 images) is $25.

Any sales you make at out gallery will be paid 70% to the artist / 30% commission to the gallery — to keep it operating!

FAQs

  • Make sure you’ve got your assets organized before starting. The submission process should take 15-20 minutes.

    • Up to 5 images of your artwork, using this naming convention: Crandall.Natalie-01.NeonTomatoes.jpg

    • Your instagram and website urls, including the “www” part (no need to add the “@”)

  • Our submissions are open, but not limited to the following mediums:

    • Acrylic Painting

    • Ceramics

    • Collage

    • Digital Art

    • Drawing

    • Mixed Media

    • Oil Painting

    • Photography

    • Printmaking

    • Sculpture

    • Watercolor

  • Artwork should be priced up to $1000.

  • The artist/gallery split is 70/30. Artists keep 70% of the sale price while the gallery earns 30%.

    Our submission fee is $25.
